Meeting with the Aupaluk Municipal Council

In the picture two of the negotiators, Maggie and Harry, pose with the municipal council of Aupaluk after their meeting during the consultation field trip. In most of the villages of Nunavik the negotiators would meet with the municipal council before their public consultation. At these meetings they would briefly present the document 'Overview of the Agreement in Principle' and decide the best way to meet the local population. They would choose either a public meeting, by FM radio and sometimes both.
