In nineteen eighty-three, the Quebec premier invited the Inuit of Nunavik to work on proposals for new self-government arrangements. Who was that premier?

Answer: (c) " … in 1983, … then Premier René Lévesque invited the Inuit of Nunavik to come together to develop and submit proposals for new self-government arrangements for their region."

What is the name of the group formed in the late eighties whose goal was to prepare a draft constitution for Nunavik? This group was composed of six elected individuals.

Answer: (b) " … six people were elected to develop a draft constitution for a Nunavik Government, a group which became known as the Nunavik Constitutional Committee (NCC)."
